UAE introduces visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan

The United Arab Emirates announced the possibility of a visa-free stay in the country for up to a month for citizens of Kazakhstan.

The UAE decided to introduce a visa-free regime for all citizens of Kazakhstan with the possibility of staying in the country for up to one month.

This was announced at the first meeting of the joint commission on consular issues between Kazakhstan and the UAE, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reports.

The ministry said in a statement that "the relevant document will be signed tomorrow, May 23, by the foreign ministers of the two countries."

The meeting of the commission was held on the eve of the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Astana. The meeting focused on ways to deepen consular legal relations between Kazakhstan and the UAE, cooperation to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the two countries, providing legal assistance to individuals and legal entities, as well as visits by UAE citizens to the international specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" in Astana, reports press service.
