Maserati company first introduced its new product - Gran Turismo S at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year. The new Maserati Gran Turismo S coupe with an expressive “trident” on the radiator grill is a more advanced continuation of the already existing Gran Turismo model.
Compared to the Gran Turismo introduced last year, the new “S” became the owner of a 440-horsepower 4.7-liter V8 engine (normal - 405 hp), which is also installed on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. The engine is equipped with a sequential automatic transmission with an electronic control system, which allows you to reach speeds of up to 295 km / h, accelerate to 100 km / h in just 4.6 seconds and give a maximum torque of 490 Nm. Switching the box is possible, either in the usual way, or using the "petals" on the steering wheel. The developers installed on the novelty powerful brake pads adapted for this coupe from the Quattroporte Sport GT S model. With their help, such a powerful car can be stopped as quickly as possible. A unique braking system was created in tandem with Brembo.
The body design is the same - from Pininfarina, but the features of the Maserati Gran Turismo S were emphasized by a chrome grille, channels and a pair of spoilers. Exclusive black seven-spoke wheels complement the package.
Interior trim has not changed. Manufacturers still rely on a rich assortment of leather with Alcantara, the sophistication of which can always be supplemented with applications made of wood or carbon. Standard interiors are offered in two basic shades - gray and smoky quartz, however, to order you can choose your own modification from three offered valuable types of wood - rosewood, walnut and wood from Tanganyika, and five special colors - Black Piano, Rosso Sigillo, Blu Laque , Bianco Ice and Giallo Decoro. Moreover, the dashboard, inside doors and the sides of the seats can be covered with AluTex - a special fiber-coated fabric with aluminum coating, which has an ultramodern look and unique qualities. In addition, the car has a “decent” multimedia system with navigation.
It is known that in Europe, the Maserati Gran Turismo S is already sold at a price of 127,330 euros, the Emirate's official dealers invite people to the Maserati brand showroom to inquire about the availability of the novelty, its configuration and price.
