World Stars Arriving at Dubai Film Festival

At the Dubai Film Festival, 140 films will be shown.

At the 14th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), a total of 140 films from 51 countries will be screened - feature films and short films - including 50 international premieres.

The festival, which will be held from December 6 to 13, will gather stars of the first magnitude and will become a platform for cultural exchange.

The list of international stars who will arrive in Dubai this December includes Sir Patrick Stewart, Irfan Khan, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Jessica Parker, Vanessa Williams, Alisha Dixon, David Harbor, Tuba Buyusten, Olga Kurylenko, Morgan Sperlock, Michelle Maclaren, , Tanner Fox, Alexandru Byrne, Warwick Thornton, Even Leslie, Dominic Cook, Rob Rainer, Lynn Ramsay, Simon Curtis, Madison Isman, Ser'Darius Blaine, Sonam Kapoor, Klaus Bang, Shabana Azmi, Louis Fonzy, John Bailey, Nicky Caro Kimberly Pierce and Dee Rhys.

Abdulhamid Juma, chairman of DIFF, said: "This year the 14th DIFF session is being held, and each year is as unique as the city of Dubai, thanks to the list of films ... We hear stories from all over the world played on the big screen through the film each of which is unique in its perspective and narrative language. "

He noted that the film festival makes a real contribution to the film industry of the Arab world, and this year will not be an exception in this regard.

At the opening ceremony, DIFF will present three honorary awards to celebrate the achievements and contributions of three people to the film industry. The first prize will be awarded to the famous Egyptian writer Wahid Hamed, and the other two to the British actor Sir Patrick Stewart and the Indian actor Irfan Khan.

During the week, spectators of the festival will be able to choose any of 28 industry discussions, master classes, including a master class on costume design presented by BAFTA and Swarovski, and events with the participation of the largest international movie stars.

A special collection of entertainment in the VR and Experimental Reality Experience categories has also been prepared, which presents the latest virtual reality attractions from around the world, including from Russia, Japan, Spain, the UK, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and France.
