By 2027, there will be 20 billionaires in the UAE

According to a recently published forecast, the number of billionaires living in the UAE will increase significantly by 2027.

The World Wealth's AfrAsia Bank Global Wealth Migration, a new world migration report, identified the countries that are expected to have the most billionaires in the next 10 years. According to the forecast in 2027, the UAE will be home to 20 billionaires.

Currently, 13 billionaires live in the Emirates, which puts the country in 22nd place in the world ranking of the growth rate of the number of billionaires.

This list is headed by China; according to forecasts, the number of billionaires in the Middle Kingdom will increase from 249 to 699 by 2027. After China, India and the USA go.

Among the countries of the Persian Gulf, the UAE occupies the highest line, Qatar and Saudi Arabia are also included in the rating.

Earlier this year, Knight Frank's wealth report showed that the number of super-rich people in Dubai will increase by 60 percent by 2026.

According to the report, the number of super-rich people in Dubai increased by 12% between 2015 and 2016, ahead of other financial centers such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.

In addition, the emirate has strengthened its position in terms of investment attractiveness in connection with the development of infrastructure projects and the construction of new areas in connection with Expo 2020.
