Dubai, UAE. Flydubai Cargo, the cargo division of Flydubai, announces the launch of an animal transportation service throughout its route network. The message came after the successful flydubai Cargo transport of two saluki dogs and seven falcons to competitions recently held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The project was implemented jointly with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the UAE in support of the participation of the UAE in this event.
The project demonstrates the capabilities of the Flydubai Cargo division for transporting animals, and also offers additional options for customers, such as door-to-door or airport-to-airport transportation, the ability to book a round-trip flight for pets and other animals. Animal transportation services can also be used for agricultural and zoological tasks. All transportation is carried out in accordance with the IATA Rules for the Transport of Live Animals to ensure safe and humane transportation of animals. Flydubai offers special facilities for animals and pet care during transit stops in Dubai. Facilities include a full physical examination, feeding, walking and the provision of medicines. Pets are also available upon request.
