Forecasters warn residents of the UAE about rain with hail and floods.

Dubai, UAE. Heavy rain and hail caused flooding in the highlands of Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday, the UAE National Center for Meteorology and Seismology reports. Forecasters urge local residents to be especially vigilant and prepare for possible flooding.

Heavy rain and wind are also recorded on the border with Oman, in Fujairah, Dibba and Korfakkan. Ras al-Khaimah police closed roads leading to the peak of Jabal Jays due to the threat of landslides.
