A lawyer from the United Arab Emirates shared the absurd cases from his practice that led to the divorce of the spouses.
Hassan Al-Marzuki, a lawyer from the UAE, spoke about several divorce cases from his practice. He cited as an example several cases where small disagreements became the cause of divorces.
For example, one woman from Al Ain claimed a divorce because her husband forgot about their anniversary and her birthday. He systematically forgot the dates of the most important events in her life.
Another young bride refused marriage after her husband chose a wedding hall that she did not like.
Hassan noted that the basis of such disputes is the lack of maturity or understanding of marital rights and obligations.
