UAE Prime Minister celebrates 50th anniversary of service to the Motherland

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum celebrates the 50th anniversary of serving the Fatherland.

Dubai, UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, celebrates the 50th anniversary of serving the Fatherland. On His Jubilee His Highness was warmly congratulated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked the Prime Minister for his contribution to the development of the country, calling him a leader who knows how to inspire, who has devoted his life to the development of the nation.

The current ruler of Dubai began his ministry to the homeland on November 1, 1968, when he was appointed head of the Dubai Police and Public Security. Since December 1971, Sheikh Mohammed took the post of Minister of Defense of the United Arab Emirates.

Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum was appointed Crown Prince of Dubai on January 3, 1995. On January 4, 2006, Sheikh Mohammed, who had almost ruled the city for almost 10 years, became the official emir of Dubai - his elder brother, Sheikh Maktum bin Rashid Al Maktum, died.

A day later, Sheikh Mohammed, by the will of the President of the UAE, was nominated as Vice President and Prime Minister of the country; The president’s proposal was almost immediately approved by members of the country's federal national council. He has held the last two posts for the past 13 years.
