In the United Arab Emirates, fuel prices will rise significantly the other day

The authorities of the United Arab Emirates announced a significant increase in gas prices.

The UAE Fuel Prices Committee announced a price increase of more than 10 percent in May. Recall that in April a 9 percent increase was recorded.

A liter of Super 98 will now cost 2.48 dirhams ($ US 0.68), Special 95 - 2.34 dirhams ($ US 0.64). Prices for these brands rose 11.21 and 10.9 percent, respectively. To a lesser extent, growth affected diesel fuel. In May, its cost will be 2.53 dirhams ($ US 0.69).

Oil prices rose about 33 percent this year and hit a six-month high last week after the United States announced it would not extend the benefits that would allow China and several other major economies to continue to import Iranian oil.
