The UAE Asian Football Cup 2019 promises three weeks of exciting international football. In January 2019, the UAE will host the largest, 17th AFC Champions League, in the framework of which 51 matches will be held in 28 days with the participation of 24 national teams in 8 stadiums in 4 cities of the UAE.
Under the slogans “UAE - the home of football” and “Uniting Asia”, the UAE is not the first to host this second of the oldest football championships in the world; it was first held here in 1996.
Teams from countries all over the world, from Australia, Uzbekistan, North and South Korea to the Philippines, India and Vietnam will face off in exciting battles. The UAE team is in group A of six and will play against Thailand, India and Bahrain. Dubai will host 11 matches in two stadiums - Al Maktoum and Al Rashid, which are expected to be visited by more than 126 thousand fans.
