New Realism DIOR

Not so long ago, the fashion house DIOR left the creative director RAF SIMONS, SWISS DESIGNERS SERGE RUFIE and LUCIE MAYER became his successors. And BECAUSE OF THE PAST WEEK OF HIGH FASHION IN PARIS, EVERYONE WITH SPECIAL INTEGRITY WAS WAITING FOR THEIR JOINT DEBUT OPERATION - Couture collection DIOR "SPRING-SUMMER 2016".

Whereas under the guidance of John Galliano, models in eccentric dresses made of luxurious fabrics with puffy skirts and sophisticated embroideries went out to Dior couture shows, the intelligent and thoughtful Raf Simons liked to experiment with tailoring. Current designers Serge Roufier and Lucy Meyer have chosen the middle ground between the shocking styles of John Galliano and the minimalistic experiments of Raf Simons. In its collection, the duo relied on comfortable fit and comfort and presented at the Rodin Museum in Paris, perhaps, one of the most practical collections of the Dior Haute Couture.

The elegant architecture of the museum, reflected in the mirrors, became the backdrop for the defile, in which Christian Dior's signature tricks and elements are clearly visible: signature A-line short skirts and silk pencil skirts just below the knees, a seductive neckline and open shoulders. But this collection seems simple only at first glance - Serge and Lucy picked up complex textures for her, decorated the dresses with intricate embroidery, delicate lace, beads, ruffles and three-dimensional flowers and gave the skirts and dresses a visible asymmetry.
