Ali Khalifa bin Talis, Emirate photographer and Secretary General of the International Photography Competition (HIPA) under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, held a solo exhibition of photographs on the theme of underwater flora and fauna "Truly, Madly, Deeply" at The Dubai Mall, a shopping and entertainment center.
A professional documentary photographer explored marine life off the coast of Indonesia and Malaysia, the UAE and Oman, the Philippines and the Bahamas. The opening of the exhibition was timed to coincide with the publication of the book of the same name. The purpose of the exposition is to talk about the importance of preserving marine life.
