ENGLISH CLOTHING DESIGNER ELIS TEMPERLEY SHARES THE REASON WHY SHE HAVE CLOSED THE ALICE BY TEMPERLEY BRAND AND DECIDED TO CONCENTRATE ONLY ONE ONE CLOTHING LINE.
This is an exciting time for me ... I felt that I lacked creative expression. The Alice by Temperley brand no longer exists. All efforts are aimed at reviving the youth spirit of my first and more meaningful pret-a-porter Temperley London clothing line. The essence of my act is to create the perfect balance between new silhouettes, the convenience of daytime images and the English textile heritage. The focus is on the strict cut of trouser suits, flowing lines, easy layering, femininity, emphasized by rich jacquard fabrics, decorative ornaments and a fresh color palette for the brand. For the first time in the history of the English House, two-piece and three-piece suits are combined with Temperley's signature lace.

- I'm drawing.
- I like sports retro cars. I have a 60s Thunderbird that often "participates" in my parties.
- I love changing clothes. This opens up a portal for me to be creative.
I work a lot with color. See how coral colors are mixed poetically with indigo, graphic black and austere white. I admit, such a palette of the Spring-Summer 2015 collection was inspired by Japanese erotic engravings of shung, illustrated with ethnic prints and abstract marine fauna. Japanese silhouettes, a delicate mesh repeating the fishing net in engravings, appliqués and details on the embroidery, similar to scales, reflect my promise to dress unobtrusively. At the same time, patterns of the ornament developed on the computer frame the body in the style of Temperley London. I love the colors of the Mediterranean, they are associated with me in the summer, which is probably why part of the collection turned out in white and red. Collection models are very relaxed but sexy. Accessories in the collection are very simple and concise. I decided to complete the look with simple sneakers, white and with a print that repeats the collection. We sewed them to order in Italy. For fall, I want to use Converse high top sneakers. It seems to me that such shoes look stylish and modern, and most importantly, it combines with almost everything.
