The authorities of Sharjah on December 2, during the celebration of the National Day of the UAE, solemnly raised the national flag to a height of 123 meters. In honor of the holiday, the seventh highest flagpole in the world was built in the emirate. The work was conducted by the Trident Support company, which more than once became the author of such high-rise structures in large cities of the world. One recent example is the construction of a 165-meter flagpole in Tajikistan.
It is worth noting that in Sharjah the design is located on the “Flag Island”, which promises to become a new tourist attraction. An open amphitheater was also built on its territory, art galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes were located.
