Etihad Museum will show the history of the UAE using high technology

The advisory committee of the Etihad Museum in the United Arab Emirates approved the institution’s structure, complemented by high technology to convey the history of the state.

The Etihad Museum Advisory Committee endorsed the interior design and exhibits in the permanent galleries of the establishment under construction near the House of Unions, where the signing of the establishment of the United Arab Emirates was signed.

The committee also approved two annexes to the permanent eight galleries. The first will be an electronic guide that will accompany visitors during the tour, highlighting elements on the screen, as well as reporting information on the dynasties of the rulers who founded the UAE. The second will tell the story of the ruling families and show their personal belongings.

The committee got acquainted with the exhibits of the first gallery, in which an introductory video will be shown, involving visitors in deep historical ideas that precede the formation of the union. Chronicle of the establishment of the union, accompanied by sound effects, will tell about the formation of the UAE by demonstrating key events and the most influential figures in this context.

The second gallery sheds light on the time period preceding the creation of the union, and the third shows the steps leading to it, using images and artifacts flowing in front of the audience like a water channel.

The fourth gallery uses one-of-a-kind exhibition technology to showcase visual images. The fifth gallery uses sophisticated technology to ensure that visitors are immersed in a virtual tour to explore the main causes and concepts of the Union.

The Sixth Gallery highlights the path to forming the leadership of the UAE, including formal and informal meetings held in preparation for the creation of a single state. The seventh gallery is dedicated to the UAE Constitution.

The eighth gallery acquaints visitors with the main events that have contributed to the creation of a new nation since the founding of the state.
