UAE Embassy warns its citizens in Bali about danger

The United Arab Emirates Embassy in Jakarta has issued warning tips for travelers.

The UAE Embassy in Indonesia issued a warning to its citizens after a volcano awoke in Bali. A series of eruptions of the Agung volcano has already forced a number of airlines to cancel their flights in and out of this popular holiday destination.

On its Twitter account, the UAE Embassy also announced that the airport would be closed within 24 hours due to the volcano, after thick black smoke rose three kilometers into the sky.

While authorities evacuated 100,000 and closed the airport on the Indonesian island of Bali, Emirates from Dubai on Monday, November 27, announced that it was temporarily suspending flights to Bali.

Passengers at Dubai International Airport are also advised to choose alternative flights to the nearest destination, or to cancel the flight.
