About 200 workers in Abu Dhabi lost their homes and personal property in a fire on Saturday.

About 200 workers were left without a roof over their heads and their property as a result of a fire in Al Reef in Abu Dhabi last Saturday, January 6.

According to preliminary data, the fire cost no casualties. An official at Dhabi Contracting said the workers were relocated to another facility. The employee promised that new housing will be organized for them.

The work camp is about 45 km from Abu Dhabi. Last year, there was also a major fire, which left 160 workers homeless. Then the fire was caused by a short circuit.
