In Abu Dhabi, an innovative warning system for drivers of adverse traffic situations has been commissioned.
The head of police in Abu Dhabi signed a decree on the launch of a national early warning system, sending out messages by motorists in the event of adverse conditions that could adversely affect the road situation.
Messages are intended to warn drivers living near areas of possible nebulae in areas with adverse weather conditions, as well as in the event of accidents on the roads that can lead to traffic jams.
Distribution is carried out on Wednesdays with the help of technological towers, informing about the probability of the onset of fog in Abu Dhabi. In a message, drivers are asked to reduce the speed limit and maintain a driving distance.
The smart towers used by the system are based on the most advanced technologies, including speed control of cars, video surveillance cameras, cameras delighted with radars for speed control.
Smart towers are also equipped with fog sensors, information from the sensors is transmitted to the control center, from which it then comes to the drivers.
