The flag island in the center of Sharjah will turn into a new tourist attraction at the beginning of 2015. So, for visitors there will be an open-air amphitheater with a thousand seats, an art gallery, restaurants, shops and cafes.
The island itself is located in close proximity to the administrative center of the emirate. A 123-meter flagpole crowns the UAE flag waving over the emirate. As planned, the island will become not only a tourist, but also a new cultural center of Sharjah.
