The Abu Dhabi 2018 Tour is a professional four-stage cycling race that will take place in the territory of the Abu Dhabi Emirate from February 21 to 25, 2018. The event will be held for the fourth time.
A balanced high-speed route runs along the desert and coast and stretches from the mountains to the city. On the way to the riders will meet the main attractions of the capital and objects of cultural heritage: Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Cornish, Yas Marina, Liva and Al Ain oases, as well as a difficult climb to Mount Jebel Hafit.
Four colors of the UAE flag formed the basis for the design of T-shirts of the leaders of the classifications. The most prestigious is the red shirt of the leader of the general classification. In 2015, it was conquered by the Colombian Esteban Chavez, in 2016 - the Estonian Tanel Kangert, and in 2017 - the Portuguese Rui Costa.
Next in importance are the green shirt of the leader of the points classification, the black shirt of the leader of the sprint classification and the white shirt of the leader of the youth classification (under 25).
The competition was organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) with the assistance of RCS Sport under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Abu Dhabi. The bike race is on the UCI World Tour calendar.
