Friday on the beach, this luxurious and brand-new Hotel RIXOS THE PALM, located in the eastern part of the "Crescent" around the man-made island "THE PALM JUMEIRAH", gathered more than 350 representatives of the Russian community to get to know each other, and then - an interesting and to spend WEEKEND AT A WARM COMPANY OF NEW FRIENDS. A HUGE NUMBER OF SMILE AND Naughty Babies, MANY OF WHICH WERE BORN AND RECEIVED THEIR SECOND HOUSE ARE OUTSIDE THE FATHERLAND, were particularly pleased. THE EVENT WAS ORGANIZED BY THE PUBLISHING HOUSE "RUSSIAN EMIRATES".
Throughout the day, guests were entertained by animators from DXP Production, and activists of the Russian woman’s organization, who jointly taught children to draw and develop games, and showed acrobatic sketches. The mini-circus performance from the magician from Never Land caused a real delight of the young generation. At the same time, the provocative presenter in the company with the DJ helped adults to show dexterity, strength and ingenuity in numerous competitions and folk games, without which not a single event of this kind can traditionally do - tug of war, a pass under the bar or team relay races.
Pleasant prizes and gifts were not long in coming. The guests took part in sports with pleasure, fought passionately for the cups of winners in beach futsal and volleyball tournaments. While the men fought for the ball, lovely ladies were able to practice plasticity and grace on the warm sand of a snow-white beach. Especially for them, dance classes were organized - incendiary samba or salsa from the Move-Ya Dance Studio.
I must say that officials who honored their family vacations with their presence also showed great activity and excellent sports training, including: Russian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Andreev with his wife, Russian Consul General in the United Arab Emirates Gocha Buachidze with his wife and children, Kazakh Ambassador Askar Musinov with his family in the UAE, Askar Shokybaev, consul general of Kazakhstan in the UAE, with his wife and children, Igor Yegorov, chairman of the Russian Council of Entrepreneurs in Dubai and the Northern Emirates with his family, president of the Women's Association ossiyanka "Tatiana Al Aroud with her husband and children, the chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in the UAE, and Director General of the publishing house" Russian Emirates "Sergey Tokarev, student representatives of the Russian Cultural Club.
A buffet and a refreshment bar are open throughout the day. It was possible to take a break from sports battles and chat with each other in the cozy gazebos or restaurants of the hotel, take sun baths - in soft sun loungers or tents in the form of dow boats. Many of those present on this warm and sunny day began a new swimming season.
“Such events are not just an excuse to discover new and interesting places in the United Arab Emirates. For compatriots who live outside the homeland, this is an opportunity to meet their countrymen, make friends, make new useful contacts. Guests were satisfied with the past day, and in the future we will conduct even more interesting and fascinating events. The next one is in May, "said organizer and inspirer Sergey Tokarev, summing up the family weekend.
Each guest received souvenirs from the organizers and partners of the event. And those who did not lose time and managed to capture all the fun on film, were waiting for a new award - the brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. And she found a hero! 
Of course, such a wonderful and long-awaited event could not have taken place without the help and support of partners.
